State-wise Rice Productivity Analysis |
State : Punjab |
Rice is cultivated in 17 districts of Punjab and all districts are falling under high productivity group. Triennium average area and production of high productivity group (yield more than 2,500 kg/ha) comprising of 17 districts were 25.78 lakh hectares and 86.03 lakh tonnes, respectively. Triennium average productivity was 3,337 kg/ha as against 1,947 kg/ha triennium average productivity of the nation.
